Hello! Welcome to my website. I chose to research fennec foxes because I found them to be extremely interesting. I first learned about them while watching Zootopia with my niece, and Finnick quickly became one of my favorite characters. I hope you enjoy reading about them... but first, a quick introduction to them

COMMONLY KNOWN AS: Fennec Fox

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Vulpes zerda

Mammals

DIET: Omnivore

SIZE: Head and body ranges from 9.5 to 16 inches; tail: 7 to 12.2 inches

fun fact: their ears can be half the size of their bodies!

WEIGHT: 2.2 - 3.3 pounds

HABITAT: Most commonly found in the Sahara and some places in North Africa

MORNING OR NIGHT?: Fennec foxes are night owls, or well... night foxes. These mammals are nocturnal and given how HOT it gets in the desert, I don't blame them
